The multi-axis tourbillon inside the Vianney Halter Deep Space is engineered to reduce timing errors caused by gravity. In a standard mechanical watch, the balance wheel + hairspring oscillator can gain/lose time depending on orientation. A tourbillon averages those errors by rotating the escapement.
