Pete DeSantis of Butler Township will never get bored of whittling. With his years of knowledge and creations housed around the nation and Europe, how could he? The former Armco bricklayer began whittling when he got his first pocket knife. He now has a container full of pocket knives sitting on the floor beside his work desk, but he’s certain one doesn’t need all those knives to make a good carving. “I’ve always been into art,” DeSantis said. “There’s everything imaginable that you can carve.
