update on my personal social media journey: its weird. i do this for brands for a living and the path is clear - leverage your brand name to add to internet culture. but what happens when you’re not a big name to begin with? as an individual i’ve now experienced several viral hits, milestones i didn’t think id reach till years into this game (yay) and yet … videos will get thousands of views, likes, shares - not a single comment. totally get that the convos are happening in the DMs, but what does that mean for small businesses, individuals? where is the community building? what does it mean to be a person in a digital space? can we be more than a walking ad? did juicy j get plastic surgery? i do not recognize that man. #brandstrategy #smallcontentcreator #creativedirector
