There’s something about standing in front of mountains that resets your perspective.
Their scale is almost offensive. Massive. Unmoving. Ancient in a way that makes your entire life feel like a blink.
They’ve seen time pass in ways we can’t even comprehend. Entire civilizations, climates, eras… all just moments to them.
And in that realization, you feel small. Almost irrelevant.
But then something unexpected happens.
That same feeling pulls you into the present. Sharpens your awareness. Reminds you that you are here… right now… experiencing something real.
It’s a strange duality.
The mountains make you feel insignificant,
while at the same time reminding you that your existence matters… because you get to witness them.
Not everything needs to resolve into one truth.
Some things are powerful precisely because they hold both.
