Today’s #Artist365 spotlight takes us to the creative world of Brooke Lambert in Studio 291. Brooke Lambert is a printmaker and painter who creates original collagraph prints and paintings centered on themes of the ocean and environment. She uses recycled materials to construct richly textured collagraph plates, which she prints and then paints with vibrant color. In addition to her printmaking practice, she creates colorful, nature-inspired paintings. Committed to sustainability, Brooke incorporates environmentally conscious methods into her work and is sponsored by Akua Inks and Speedball Art Products. Brooke holds a BFA from Massachusetts College of Art and Design and exhibits her work widely throughout New England, New York, and beyond. She works out of Studio 291 at Western Avenue Studios & Lofts in Lowell, MA.
