Found one of the best family staycations within an hour of London… 🙌🙌🙌🙌 📍 Foxhills Club & Resort A HIghlight ? 🍽️ Lomri — their new Indian restaurant. This alone is worth going for if you fancy a drive down for a nice meal We had: – Goan prawn curry – Papdi chaat – Lamb chops & spiced squid – Coffee kulfi (the pistachio + chai one… unreal) Genuinely standout Indian food. And crucially — because it’s a hotel, you’re not stuck trying to make the kids “be adventurous”. They’ve got the usual solid kids’ menu (think spaghetti bolognese, proper chicken nuggets etc), so everyone’s happy without compromise. The rest of the stay just makes it perfect for families – Kids’ club (we actually got an hour to ourselves 🙌) – Indoor + outdoor pools + adults-only pool – Spa + golf if you’re going as a couple – Paddle, tennis, woodland walks, adventure playground The staff were brilliant — warm, attentive, amazing with the kids. It genuinely felt closer to five-star service. It works...
