This past Sunday was our first SEEN Sunday, and what stayed with me wasn’t just the joy, it was the quiet shift. Shoulders softening. Guards coming down. The kind of ease that comes when someone knows they’re being met with dignity. When I joined the board of seen_nonprofit , I felt honored, but more than that, accountable…to show up in a way that reflects the depth, resilience, and humanity of this community.
