Start with Art brings nearly 1,000 community, business, and arts leaders together to celebrate the creative season in Indianapolis and you could be part of it. This year's event will be on August 20th from 3-6pm at the Indiana Roof Ballroom. ⁠ The Indy Arts Council is seeking proposals across the following performance and experience categories:⁠ ⁠ 🌠 Sidewalk Entertainment (outdoor welcoming experiences)⁠ 🌠 Elevator Entertainment (intimate, surprise performances or activities in the elevators)⁠ 🌠 Curated Playlist (DJ or sound curation for pre- and post-program networking and social ambiance)⁠ 🌠 Mainstage Opening Performance (5-minute performance to bring energy to the stage and program)⁠ 🌠 Mainstage Mid-Program Performance (5-minute on-stage performance to keep the inspiration flowing)⁠ 🌠 Mainstage Closing Performance (5-minute on-stage performance to round out the experience)⁠ ⁠ Honorariums range from $500 to $1,000.⁠ Deadline to apply: May 31.⁠ ⁠ Learn more at the link in our bi...
