🔔 We're looking for three kids to join us on the judging panel for the first ever Children's Booker Prize, supported by AKO Foundation. The adult judging panel for the Children’s Booker Prize 2027 includes the current Waterstones Children's Laureate Frank Cottrell-Boyce as Chair of judges, as well as acclaimed actor Lolly Adefope and owner of the Children’s Bookshop in Muswell Hill, Sanchita Basu De Sarkar. This prize will be judged by a mixed panel of adult and child judges. Frank, Lolly and Sanchita will select a shortlist of eight books to be announced on 24 November 2026, and three child judges will join the adults in choosing the winning book, to be announced on 2 February 2027.
