In the 21st minute, New England took the lead through a goal from Malcom Fry. Once the first went in, the floodgates opened: Orlando and New England traded goals back and forth. After a period of end-to-end gameplay, the game went into the half time break tied at 2-2.
Marcos Zambrano took back the lead for the Revolution in the 58th minute. Orlando City got the best of the remaining chances in the game.
