A trainee drove a bus into the River Seine in France after hitting a parked car and veering off the road, officials have said. The driver was nearing the end of her "practical learning" during the incident in Juvisy-sur-Orge, where they "lost control" of the vehicle close to the riverbank, local Mayor Lamia Bensara Reda said. More than 90 firefighters, divers and police took part in the recovery operation and all four passengers on board were rescued.
