A teacher in Ewell, UK, has been banned from the profession after lying to pupils that she was in the Australian army and pretending she had been shot while in a war zone.
Alexandra Slay would also text and write letters to students, telling them she had gone into cardiac arrest and "flatlined".
A disciplinary panel concluded that Slay had been “inappropriate” and had caused stress and alarm to pupils through her claims.
