Remembering Deputy David William March End of Watch: April 29, 2002 Deputy David March was just days away from transferring to the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station when he was killed in the line of duty on April 29, 2002. Though he never had the chance to serve from our station, Deputy March was meant to serve this community. He lived here, was known here, and his loss was deeply felt throughout Santa Clarita.
