Thank you to Booker Elementary’s Safe Key students and Ms. Carballo’s class for reading along with me for Nevada Reading Week! We learned about lawyers in @sugarcookiebooks’s “Andrew Learns About Lawyers” and talked about managing our frustrations and fears with @marccolagiovanni’s “When Things Aren’t Going Right, Go Left”. Afterwards, students had a chance to practice their advocacy skills to convince “Judge Carballo” to let them dress up as mini judges too!
