Shay and Luca’s story was a slow burn filled with sparks and frustration in the best way. Their chemistry jumped off the page, and I loved how their connection built over late-night renovations and hidden moments. Luca’s honesty and steady presence made him easy to root for, while Shay’s drive to save her family’s marina added urgency and depth to the story. I do think the long-standing conflict with her family wrapped up a little too neatly, but it didn’t take away from the overall enjoyment. This was a charming and easy read with great side characters and plenty of warmth. Perfect for fans of enemies to lovers, secret relationships, and small-town drama.
