✨️Book Review✨️ The One I Didn't See Coming By @authorpiperrayne 4.5/5 stars This one was such a cute, easy, quick read that was lighthearted and humorous. Emmett and Briar's chemistry and banter and watching them not only grow as individuals but in their relationship with each other as well was so satisfying. I wasn't sure their was much hope for playboy Emmett but it was great seeing how he became Briar's protector and that he was someone she could rely on and I was so happy when the truth came out about what happened at the barn when they were teenagers that caused her to hate Emmett. And I loved seeing how Briar supported Emmett when his family didn't. They balanced each other well.
