I was absolutely hooked from the first page and couldn't willingly put this book down. I also feel like this book was much so much stronger since there wasn't the build-up like in the first book, but we are left with just as many unanswered questions as the first book but it's not a bad thing. I feel Anne and William chemistry is so much stronger, and the tension is more explosive with all the twists and turns and ups and downs in the book.
