4.5/5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.5 What can I say about this book, I absolutely love the Plain Daisy series and book 2 didn't disappoint. We first met Jude and Sadie in The One I Left Behind (book 1) and I knew I would love their story. This is a friends to lovers, marriage of convenience romance that will tug at your heart strings quickly on in the book and have you in your feels as you read. Jude and Sadie have been best friends since they were 6, they've always been their for each other and always did what was in best interest for the other which lead then to have such a strong, sweet bond. I could understand why neither of them acted on their mutual feelings for each as they feared they might lose one another and neither wanted to take that risk. But after some complications lead the Jude offers to marry Sadie in a marriage of convenience to help save her family's farm, but lines quickly blur to real when they finally have to admit their feelings for each other, they can't keep to themselv...
