Today, Voice for Children celebrates Native American Day, a time to honor and celebrate the rich cultural tapestry, traditions, and contributions of Native communities, including the 110+ federally recognized tribes in California. Native American children represent a disproportionate number of children in foster care. We are deeply committed to serving local Native American children by providing them with Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASAs) who can address their unique needs and support the Tribal Courts.
