This May, as we recognized National Foster Care Month and observed Mental Health Awareness Month, our Real Word Panel explored the mental health challenges youth living in foster care faced and how Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASAs) supported their mental health throughout their foster care journey.
Tune in to listen to Anthony, Josh, and Vanessa candidly share their experiences around their sense of individuality, lack of confidence in themselves, and unbuilding habits that were formed while in foster care and their challenges with processing their anger, depression, and low self-esteem.
