Today, Voices for Children celebrates CASA Appreciation Day!✨ We thank the California State Legislature for acknowledging the dedication of the 8,638 active CASA volunteers who have supported 12,022 children in foster care across California this past year alone. We are incredibly grateful to our 1,236 dedicated Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASAs), who dedicate their time, passion, and skills to be the voice of a vulnerable child living in foster care in San Diego and Riverside Counties. You are the core of our mission, and it's because of you that the lives of abused, abandoned, or neglected children are transformed by having an advocate advancing their best interests.
