A child and CASA don’t always form an instant bond. But that’s the special thing about CASAs: they keep showing up, no matter what. When CASA Brad was first assigned to 9-year-old “Leo’s” case, he had a tough time connecting with the boy, which only became more difficult after COVID-19 restrictions went into place.
