👋 Meet Morgan Dioli, the Wildfire County Coordinator for San Diego County. Since 2021, Wildfire County Coordinators, powered by a partnership between cafiresafe and CAL FIRE, have been increasing community wildfire resilience by planning and advancing prevention, preparedness, mitigation, and recovery projects. 🚗 Morgan and her partners identified a critical gap: many residents were unsure how to safely evacuate during a wildfire. 🔥 In response, they teamed up with local, state, and federal partners to create the Last Chance Survival Simulation Workshop. This hands-on course helps community members better understand evacuation planning and what to do if evacuation isn’t immediately possible.
