Cha-ching! 💼 Our 7th graders cashed in on real-world experience across our middle schools! In District 47, middle school students begin exploring college and career pathways early, and during this hands-on simulation, students stepped into adult roles for the day. Students received a career and a monthly income, which they used to budget their expenses, deciding how much to spend on housing, food, transportation, entertainment, health, and more. In addition to our incredible staff volunteers, more than 20 community members representing a wide range of careers stepped in to help make this experience possible.
