It’s bittersweet for me to write this, but this past weekend I graduated from the University of Michigan with a degree in Communications and Media and a minor in Creative Writing. Throughout my time at the Michigan I joined Big Ten Student U where I got to focus on sideline reporting, something I hope and plan to continue in my professional career. I’ve had the opportunity to report on the sidelines for Michigan men’s basketball, Michigan women’s basketball’s first ever jersey retirement ceremony, Michigan playoff hockey and lacrosse, and so many other incredible games. Thank you to all the producers at Big Ten Student U for trusting me to report on some of our biggest and most watched games. Another large part of my journey at Michigan was joining WCBN FM, the student radio station. At WCBN, I worked as both a play by play and color analyst and spent the last year and a half as the club president alongside Ethan Sommers as my vice president.
