Katie, who built her life talking with others in sales, never imagined a severe stroke would change everything. Post-stroke, she faced aphasia, physical disability, and isolation. Then she discovered the Stroke Onward community. While attending a program in Montana, Debra Meyerson and Steve Zuckerman presented about Stroke Across America, their 100-day bike ride across the United States.
