On International Dance Day, we celebrate the many ways our dancers continue to grow and expand as artists.
In faculty member Jason Luks’s jasonluks Theater Dance class, our Year 3 and 4 Jazz & Contemporary Trainees stepped into a different side of performance, learning how to work with the camera. With Angelo Soriano gelosaurus behind the lens, dancers explored how movement translates on screen, bringing awareness to detail, intention, and presence in a new way.
With his extensive professional background both in performance and behind the camera, Jason offers a unique perspective that expands how our dancers approach their work. We’re excited to see how this process comes to life on video soon!
