The Big Sur International Marathon is always a highlight of the spring here on the Monterey Peninsula. This year the course had to be adjusted due to the washout on Highway 1 in Big Sur, but there were still tons of smiling faces. Completing any road race is such an accomplishment! For the last two years, I’ve been a volunteer photographer at the start/finish and I love seeing these smiling faces 😊🏃🏼‍♀️ Powered by nearly 2,000 local volunteers this event is able to support a number of organizations in our community doing incredible work.
