WAHKEENA FALLS | OREGON When the heat wave snuck into Portland, the scenic Columbia River Gorge was the perfect retreat. It’s picturesque waterfalls and dog-friendly trails were just what we needed. You will need a Waterfall Corridor permit to access these falls by personal vehicle. The permit is $2 and we got one the morning of our visit. You choose an hour time slot for your arrival and as long as you enter within that hour you are good (they were checking!).
