The Omaha Supernovas enter the postseason embracing an underdog mindset as they pursue a second championship in their first three seasons. The fourth-seeded Supernovas will face top-seeded Indianapolis in a single-elimination matchup Thursday night in Dallas. The two teams split their regular-season series, each winning twice. “I think every single match that we’ve played, we’ve felt like the underdog, at least in the second half of the season,” outside hitter Brooke Nuneviller said. “But we also know we have so much talent and a group that can take it to the last point and win it.” Despite the lower seed, Omaha remains confident in its ability to compete with one of the league’s top teams. “I love our matchup with Indy,” Outside Hitter Sarah Parsons said. “It’s always competitive.
