OG Cyber Family, I know you guys remember this happening in real time. Things like this would happen to me quite often when Boosie was younger. Newsflash, black people do foster and adopt! So please don’t think it’s strange if you see families like ours out in public. We don’t have to match on the outside to have love for one another on the inside. So as we are going through foster care awareness month, remember: family is built through love, consistency, sacrifice, and showing up…not just biology. These children deserve to feel safe, seen, chosen, and celebrated.
