In a continuing testament to a deep friendship, the Rev. Dr. Amos C. Brown — pastor emeritus of the Third Baptist Church in San Francisco and close friend of the late President Russell M. Nelson — traveled to São Paulo, Brazil, this week to attend four performances by The Tabernacle Choir and Orchestra at Temple Square. On Tuesday, February 24, 2026, Tabernacle Choir President Michael O. Leavitt interviewed the Rev. Dr. Brown in front of the Choir and Orchestra. During the conversation, the Baptist leader shared his testimony of Jesus Christ, the power of music growing up in Mississippi, his love for the hymn “Come, Come, Ye Saints,” and his mission to invite everyone to remember “we are all children of God ... all precious in His sight.” 0:00 - 1:53 Role of Music Growing Up 1:50 - 2:34 Love of Come, Come, Ye Saints 2:35 - 4:40 Rev.
