This might piss some restoration experts off. My apologies in advance. Though I am usually a stickler for sticking to the original parts of a house, if I see something that can elevate what was there before I will pick the better version. This is the case with this bathroom door. Our house was built between 1896 and 1900. In that time America was in the thick of the industrial revolution and Mills were able to mass produce many lavish furnishings in a short amount of time. The doors and all of the wood that I have in my house are stamps of that time. Though I love every original detail in my house I do find the doors to be a bit repetitive. This is my first attempt at adding art glass to the them. I won’t be doing this to every door in the house, but I will be doing it to the laundry room and the kitchen door as well.
