A new Primary General Presidency was announced during the Saturday afternoon session of the 196th Annual General Conference of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. President D. Todd Christofferson of the First Presidency made the announcement during the session’s sustaining of Church leaders. The new leaders are Rosemary K. Chibota (President), Nina M. Garfield (First Counselor), and Theresa A. Collins (Second Counselor). The new presidency members will begin service on August 1, 2026.
