first road race in the books ✔️!!!!!! been hesitant to create & post again bc it feels weird going back to “normal life” after something that changes forever. So many new questions & thoughts have popped into my mind — the most common being how I can use this story of my dad to point to Jesus. I have full confidence my dad is in heaven & bc of that I know I can also continue living life with full joy. With that being said, this race was fun, difficult, nostalgic…all at the same time. Fun → Eugene certainly is Tracktown, USA. Crowds were awesome!! Difficult → I would wave called my dad after crossing the finish line Nostalgic → reminds me of since of my happiest times of life running for Clemson:) One thing my dad instilled in my life was to always show up with a smile, no matter what was going on. I’ll forever be grateful for all the love, prayers, support, & kindness to my family & I that reminded us to do that 🤍 Sooooo enjoy this glimpse into 13.1 miles through Eugene 🤗
