In celebration of The Costume Institute’s Spring 2026 exhibition Costume Art, Colman Domingo ascended the Met steps in a custom Valentino creation - a pleated chiffon jacket animated by a harlequin-inspired motif, brought to life through over 260 hours of meticulous handwork by the Maison’s seamstresses, paired with embroidered trousers.
