#IamUCI: Josie Fermin, B.A. Program in Public Health Josie's passion for public health ignited when her grandmother was diagnosed with diabetes, leading to her to interest in preventing and managing noncommunicable diseases. 🏥💪 She's inspired by the ever-evolving field of public health and the potential for impactful policies, like the EPA's regulation of "forever chemicals" in drinking water, to improve community health. 💧🌱 Josie plans to pursue a Master of Public Health in child and maternal health.
