To end Autism Awareness Month last night, my Kingston played at his spring recital and I was soooooo so proud of him, I could’ve cried! He had been working on this piece for a whole month and even though he paused a few times for a second he really snapped. Why? Because he played that whole thing from memory! Learned it with sheet music then, once he got it used his ears to train him💪🏾 Yep! Thats my kid, and now he is starting to sing! Time for voice lessons! See autism has its disadvantages, but it CAN be advantageous for our babies. Where they struggle in one place, they often time strive above and beyond in others. What a blessing to see how far he has come❤️ This baby couldn’t draw a straight line across a chalk board at one point, but with love, therapies from AMAZING therapists, and patience, he is who you see sitting there on that piano and so much more!
