Raiders sign Kirk Cousins to a 5-year, $172 million dollar deal, (a 1-yr $20 million dollar deal in reality) joining a Las Vegas QB room that soon could be featuring Fernando Mendoza. The Raiders seem to be not interested in starting a rookie QB day 1, so Kirk Cousins could be a good stop gap option for Las Vegas. He's also reuniting with Klint Kubiak, where they were once worked together in Minnesota. This could get Fernando some time to sit on the bench and learn while Kirk starts. Kirk Cousins looked playable at the end of last season for Atlanta, so for a long term rebuild, Cousins definitely can fit the bill of a temporary QB.
