Tonight, we honored Oxford Fire Chief Gary Sparks as he prepares for retirement on February 1, 2026. From volunteering at 15 to leading the department for decades, his legacy includes a stronger fire service, expanded facilities, and services beyond Oxford. Named Fire Chief Emeritus, his impact will live on at OFD and throughout the city!
Thank you, Chief Gary Sparks
