The protester who scaled D.C.'s Frederick Douglass Bridge on Friday afternoon and pitched a tent was off the bridge on Wednesday and now faces charges.⁠ ⁠ The man, Guido Reichstadter, could be seen just after 9 a.m. using a ladder inside the bridge arch to get to a boom lift near the bridge, which he used to get back to the ground.⁠ ⁠ All southbound and northbound traffic on the bridge was stopped for roughly 30 minutes while he climbed down.⁠ ⁠ #washingtondc #dmv #frederickdouglassmemorialbridge #protester #dc
