The year was 1988 despite what ai cleaned up for me. This story was everywhere, front page, second page, follow ups and each time it showed me dissed 🤣 It was sad though. A blind newspaper man ran his little shop outside of 77th St station in Bay Ridge for years and years and the city mistakenly knocked it down 🫣 Since his was obviously gone the reporters kept taking pictures of the one that was supposed to be removed, the one I tagged 🤣 The moral of the story is my tags have the power to save!!
