Minot State Hockey is proud to announce the addition of defenseman Ty Plaisier (2005) for the 2026–27 season. Plaisier brings strong junior experience from the MJHL, where he developed into a reliable two-way defenseman with the ability to contribute offensively, recording 40 points in 54 games during the 2025–26 season. A physical and competitive presence on the blue line, Plaisier adds size, puck-moving ability, and consistency to the Beavers’ defensive core. His work ethic and ability to impact both ends of the ice position him to make an immediate impact at the collegiate level. We are excited to welcome Ty to our program. #beaverhockey
