LIGHTNING EDGE LIONS: The jserra.boys_tennis team fell to the visiting Sage Hill Lightning by a score of 10-8 in a first-round match of the CIF-SS Division 2 playoffs on Friday at JSerra Catholic High School. Senior HB Warner and junior Kayden Kral claimed all three of their tandem sets in doubles action with victories of 6-4, 6-0, and 6-1. Seniors Cade Faul and Emilio Salgado secured a pair of victories by scores of 7-6 and 6-3. Senior Connor Faul and junior Enzo Biundo teamed up for a 7-6 victory.
