On May 5th, 2026, Thousand Oaks Patrol Deputies responded to the 1800 block of West Hillcrest Drive, Thousand Oaks reference a domestic disturbance. Once on scene, Thousand Oaks Patrol Deputies determined both occupants of the residence were involved in illegal narcotics activity. Shane Thaisamran and Brittney Sglav were arrested for HS 11550(a) – Under the Influence of a Controlled substance and HS 11377(a) – Possession of a Controlled Substance. Thousand Oaks Patrol Deputies notified the Thousand Oaks Directed Enforcement Unit of the incident. Thousand Oaks Directed Enforcement Unit detectives coordinated with Thousand Oaks Patrol Deputies to conduct a follow-up investigation at the residence.
