Our youngest family dog, Mabel, unexpectedly passed away over the weekend. I obviously took a couple days, and I planned to talk about it in a voiceover in this video, but I physically cannot talk about it yet. But I’ll slowly be making my way back 🩷 if you’re on I G, you probably saw my updates about Mabel. She was having some health issues, but on Friday we were told she was improving. By Saturday night she was gone. Thankful for our time with her, even though it was cut much too short. My grief the last few days have taught me some lessons. You see my little helper in this video- he’s by my side doing everything. Sometimes that can frustrate me; hanging one single article of clothing on the line can take him minutes. Making a meal with him helping can prolong the process. But now I see it differently. Quality time together means more memories, and less regret. Time is precious, and growing old is a privilege.
