There’s something powerful about Havdallah.
Not just the way it closes Shabbat, but the way it helps us carry Shabbat with us. The flame, the singing, the besamim, the circle of friends. For a few moments everything slows down and you can feel that this isn’t just the end of something holy. It’s the beginning of bringing that holiness into the week ahead.
There’s something especially powerful about experiencing that together. In a world that can feel noisy, heavy, and uncertain, being surrounded by brothers, by song, and by shared purpose is a reminder that we are never carrying it alone.
Especially now, as Israel continues through such a unique and challenging time, moments like these mean even more. They remind us of the strength of unity, the power of faith, and the light we’re meant to hold onto long after Shabbat ends.
May we carry that light with us into the new week, with strength, clarity, and hope for better days for all of Am Yisrael.
Shavua Tov from Jerusalem!
