Big Friday at the 2026 Palm Beach Auction lived up to its name, delivering big sales, big moments and big stars. More than 80 authentic automobilia items crossed the block alongside over 210 No Reserve collector cars during Day 2 of the event at the South Florida Fairgrounds. One of the most heartfelt moments came when philanthropist, yacht builder and car magnate John Staluppi and his wife, Jeanette, placed the winning $250,000 bid on a 1955 Chevrolet Bel Air convertible, with proceeds benefiting the Ellis Island Honors Society. The couple continued the spirit of giving with a $135,000 winning bid on a 1988 Chevrolet Corvette 35th Anniversary Edition, benefiting the American Heart Association. The Cars of Dreams collector then generously donated the Corvette back to be sold again, with long-time Barrett-Jackson friend Nicholas Mastroianni purchasing it for an additional $75,000.
