Getting uncomfortable… 😅 Stepping back into studio TV for the AUSL Draft after so long brought ALL the emotions—fear, nerves, doubt, pressure… and also excitement. If I’m honest, I wanted to say no. I questioned if I was good enough. There are so many polished pros in this space, and I didn’t want to do it unless I could do these incredible athletes, this league, and this moment justice. But I said yes anyway. A scared yes. Was I perfect? Nope. Was I terrified? At times, absolutely. But I made it through… and actually kinda loved the challenge. So thankful for the amazing team around me cherikempf daniellelawrie15 Chuckie Kempf, caseyc0512 & the entire productions team & especially my husband, who survived my week of nervous prep and reminded me right before we went live: “Even if you suck, the kids and I still love you.” 🤣 Sometimes growth looks like showing up scared.
