The Portland Fire have etched their names into WNBA history just one game into their revival.
A total of 19,335 people attended Saturday’s regular season opener against the Chicago Sky at Moda Center, a sellout and WNBA record for an expansion team’s season opener. It surpasses the mark set by the Golden State Valkyries last season (18,064).
